Blogs create communities. They are grown up from being personal notes to a strong open platform for collective thoughts, a communication channel, or a medium for collective expressions. None ask your ethnicity, color, not even your real name. You can communicate with hundred other bloggers online, just what you blog and how authentic you are on the subject matters.
I daily contact many, only I know their nick names. IM, mails, phone and more to make you comfort virtually, itâ€™s rare to get a chance to meet face-to-face. That makes any conferences precious by itself.
We are heading towards an exciting event on 16th August, 2008, BlogCamp Kerala 2008.
I am a little excited as itâ€™s rare to have such events hosted here. Moreover, the venue is a House Boat, how thrilling it would be. An unconference in the backwaters. Should be the first blog camp in the world, in a house boat. Kudos to the team.

I have already registered to the event, waiting for a confirmation from the organizers. From the participantsâ€™ lists, I can see lot of known faces; I donâ€™t want to miss a chance. Unfortunately it is limited -150 according to the official website â€“ the registrations.
